Good. Here is who we are, what we are good at, and who else you should look at — including when they are the better choice.
EduQueue is built and run by Asan Digital LLC in New Jersey. It is in daily production at two organizations: the Union City Board of Education (28 school buildings) and the City of Union City (City Hall). That is the whole customer list. We would rather you know that than find out later.
We are not the biggest vendor in this market and we do not pretend to be. What we can offer is a platform that one district and one municipality actually use every day, a screening database we maintain ourselves, and a free tier that does not end in a sales call.
Three things we would put against anyone.
Visitor check-in and screening, student attendance with PowerSchool sync, and a city-hall deployment for public buildings run on the same codebase. One login, one vendor, one bill.
Sex-offender screening runs against registry data we collect and maintain ourselves from the state registries, all 50 states plus DC, the territories and tribal jurisdictions, rather than an unnamed third party. Per-state coverage is documented, and where a state's data is incomplete we say so.
Web check-in, a visitor photo, a printed badge, screening, a live Today's Check-ins board and an evacuation PDF, free for a single building with no card and no trial clock. Paid tiers are priced per building.
Each summary is drawn from the vendor's own public pages and terms. The linked sites carry the full comparisons with footnotes; we do not estimate anyone's prices.
Pick them if your district is standardised on the Raptor suite (VolunteerSafe, Emergency Management, SmartPass, SchoolPass) and you want visitor management from the same vendor, on Macs, PCs, iPads and Android tablets.
Know before signing: Raptor's July 2026 general terms allow in-term annual increases of CPI or 6%, whichever is higher, and renew automatically on 60 days' notice. Raptor also owns LobbyGuard (2019) and SchoolPass (2023); Warburg Pincus completed its purchase of Raptor in January 2026.
Full comparison at raptortech-alternatives.com → · LobbyGuard customers →Pick them if you run a volunteer-heavy program with an established Windows-PC kiosk, a published scanner and badge-printer list, and want screening plus badge printing from a vendor that also sells wearable staff alerting.
Know before signing: CENTEGIX acquired Ident-A-Kid in February 2023 and Pikmykid (Visitu) in April 2026; identakid.com now redirects to the Visitu page and legacy customers are being transitioned to it, an iPad-only kiosk app. Ask which product, and which contracting entity, you are buying.
Ident-A-Kid comparison → · Visitu comparison →Pick them if dismissal and the carline are the problem you are actually solving and visitor check-in is secondary; SchoolPass runs on an iPad and an internet connection.
Know before signing: Raptor acquired SchoolPass in April 2023, so you are choosing between two Raptor visitor products and should ask which one Raptor will keep investing in.
SchoolPass comparison →Pick them if you already run Ruvna for attendance, accountability and reunification: its visitor product is included at no extra cost with an Accountability subscription, and it is independent and founder-led.
Know before signing: Ruvna's visitor page describes cross-referencing "comprehensive databases from all 50 states" but does not name the source or publish per-state coverage; ask.
Ruvna comparison →Hall-pass and late-arrival tools are a separate decision; see hallpass-alternatives.com. Raptor, VisitorSafe, LobbyGuard, SmartPass, SchoolPass, CENTEGIX, Ident-A-Kid, Visitu, Pikmykid and Ruvna are trademarks of their owners; we compare, we do not affiliate.
